21. Jesus answered them, “I tell you the truth. If you have faith in God and you do not doubt what God can do, you can do what I did to this fig tree. And not only that. You can even tell this mountain, ‘Get up from here and throw yourself into the sea.’ And it will happen.

22. An énítin una áks Gọd wẹ́n una de pre, I go dú am fọ una íf una pút una trọst fọ Gọd.”

The Authority Jesus Has to Do What He Does

(Vas 23-27)

23. Jesus returned to the yard of God’s House. As He was teaching there, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him. They asked Him, “By what authority do You do these things? Who gave You the authority?”

24. Jízọs ánsá dẹm sé, “Mi tuu go áks una wọ́n kwẹ́shọn. Íf una tẹ́l Mí di ánsa, dẹn A go tẹ́l una di rait wé A gẹ́t fọ dú dís tins.

24. Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question. If you tell Me the answer, then I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

25. Na wiá Jọn frọm gẹ́t di rait to baptaíz pípul? Abí na frọm Gọd ọ na frọm húmánbin-dẹm?” Naím dẹm stát to tọ́k wit ích ọ́da abaut di kwẹ́shọn. Dẹm sé, “Íf wi ánsá, ‘Na frọm Gọd,’ I go tẹ́l ọ́s sé, ‘Dẹn wétín mék una nọ́ bilív Jọn?”

25. Where did John get the authority to baptize people? Was it from God or from human beings? They started to discuss with each other about the question. They said, “If we answer, ‘It was from God,’ He will say to us, ‘Then why did you not believe John?”

26. Bọt íf wi ánsá, ‘Na frọm húmánbin-dẹm,’ wi de fiá wétín di pípul fít dú ọs. Dis na sékọf sé ọ́l ọf dẹm bilív sé Jọn na prọ́fẹt.”

26. But if we answer, ‘It was from human beings,’ we are afraid of what the people might do to us. This is because all the people believe that John was a prophet.”

27. Naím dẹm ánsá Jízọs sé, “Wi nọ́ no.” An Jízọs tẹ́l dẹm sé, “Dẹn Mi tuu nọ́ go tẹ́l una di rait wé A gẹ́t fọ dú dís tins.

Jízọs Tẹ́l di Párébul Abaut Wọ́n Man an Im Tuú Bọí-pikin

Jesus Tells the Parable About a Man and His Two Sons

(Vas 28-32)

(Verses 28-32)

28. “Na wétín una tínk abaut dis? I gẹ́t wọ́n man wé gẹ́t tuú bọí-pikin. I kọ́n gó mít di fẹ́st pikin tẹ́l am sé, ‘Mai pikin, mék yu gó wọ́k fọ mai grép fam todè.’

28. “What do you think about this? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first son and said, ‘Son, go and work in my grape farm today.’

29. Di pikin ánsá, ‘A nọ́ go gò.’ Bọt áfta, i kọ́n chénj im maind kọ́n gò.

29. The son answered, ‘I will not go.’ But later, he changed his mind and went.

31. “So, na wích ọf di tuú pikin dú wétín im papá want?” Di chíf prist-dẹm an di ẹ́lda-dẹm ánsá, “Na di fẹ́st pikin.” Naím Jízọs tẹ́l dẹm sé, “A de tẹ́l una tru sé, pípul wé de kọlẹ́t taks an asháwó-dẹm go fẹ́st una bikọ́m pípul wé Gọd de rúl as King.

31. “So, which of the two sons did what his father wanted?” The chief priests and elders answered, “The first son.” Then Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, tax collectors and prostitutes will become people who God rules as King before you do.

32. A de tọ́k dis sékọf sé, Jọn wé de baptaíz pípul bin kọ́m to una to shó una di kọrẹ́t wè fọ ték lív una laif as Gọd wánt una to lív am. An una nọ́ bilív Jọn. Bọt pípul wé de kọlẹ́t taks an asháwó-dẹm bilív am. Ívún wẹ́n una sí sé dís pípul bilív Jọn, una stíl nọ́ grí chénj una maind an bilív am.

32. I say this because, John the Baptist came to you to show you the right way to live your lives as God wants you to live. And you did not believe John. But the tax collectors and prostitutes believed him. Even when you saw that these people believed John, you still refused to change your minds and believe him.

Jízọs Tẹ́l di Párébul Abaut di Wíkẹ́d Fáma-dẹm

Jesus Tells the Parable About the Wicked Farmers

(Vas 33-46)

(Verses 33-46)

(Mak 12:1-12; Luk 20:9-19)

(Mark 12;1-12; Luke 20:9-19)

33. “Mék una hiá anọ́dá párébul. I gẹ́t wọ́n man wé gẹ́t im ón fam. Di man plánt grep fọ di fam. I kọ́n fẹ́ns am raund, an i díg hol wiá dẹm go de prẹs prẹ́s grep fọ ték kọlẹ́t di grep wọtá ték mék wain. Dẹn i bíld táwa wiá pẹ́sin go sté de wọ́ch di grép fam. An dẹn i rẹ́nt di grép fam gív sọm fáma-dẹm kọ́n trávúl gó anọ́dá kọ́ntri.

33. “Listen to another parable. There was a man who had his own farm. The man planted grapes in the farm. Then he fenced it all around and dug a hole for a winepress to extract the juice of the grapes to make wine. Then he built a tower where someone would stay and watch over the grape farm. An then he rented the grape farm to some farmers and traveled to another country.

34. Wẹ́n taim rích fọ ték gádá di grep-dẹm, di man kọ́n sẹ́n im sávant-dẹm to di fáma-dẹm mék dẹm kọlẹ́t im ón shiá ọf di grep.

34. When the time reached to gather the grapes, the man sent his servants to the farmers to collect his share of the grapes.

35. Di fáma-dẹm hól im sávant-dẹm. Dẹm bít wọ́n ọf dẹm an kíl anọ́dá wọn. Dẹn dẹm stón anọ́dá wọn fọ ték kíl am.

35. The farmers took hold of his servants. They beat one of them and killed another one. Then they stoned another one to death.

36. Naím di man sẹ́n ọ́dá sávant-dẹm to di fáma-dẹm. I sẹ́n sávant-dẹm wé plẹntí pás di fẹ́st sávant-dẹm wé i bin sẹn. Bọt di fáma-dẹm dú dẹm di sém tin wé dẹm bin dú di fẹ́st sávant-dẹm.

36. Then the man sent other servants to the farmers. He sent more servants than he had sent the first time. But the farmers did to them the same thing that they did to the first servants.

37. Áftá dát wọ́n dọ́n pas, di man kọ́n sẹ́n im bọí-pikin to di fáma-dẹm. I sé, ‘A dé shọ sé di fáma-dẹm go rẹspẹ́t mai pikin.’

37. After that, the man sent his son to the farmers. He said, ‘I am sure the farmers will respect my son.”

38. Bọt wẹ́n di fáma-dẹm sí di man im pikin, dẹm tẹ́l ích ọ́da sé, ‘Dis na di fám óna pikin. Dís grép fam go bilọ́ng to am wẹ́n im papá dai. Mék una kọm mék wi kíl am, dẹn di grép fam go bi awa on!’

38. But when the farmers saw the man’s son, they said to each other, ‘This is the son of the owner of the farm. This grape farm will belong to him when his father dies. Let us kill him, then the grape farm will be ours!’

39. Naím dẹm hól di man im pikin. Dẹm trowé am kọmọ́t frọm di grép fam, an kọ́n kíl am.

39. So they took hold of the man’s son. They threw him out of the grape farm and killed him.

40. So, wẹ́n di man wé gẹ́t di grép fam kọm, na wétín i go dú dís fáma-dẹm?”

40. So, when the owner of the grape farm comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

41. Juu pípul dẹm lída-dẹm ánsá Jízọs sé, “I go kíl dís bád pípul kpátákpátá! Dẹ́n i go rẹ́nt di grép fam gív ọ́dá fáma-dẹm. Di niú fáma-dẹm go gív am im shiá ọf di krọp wẹ́n taim fọ hávẹst rich.”

41. The Jewish leaders answered Jesus, “He will completely destroy those wicked people! Then he will rent out his grape farm to other farmers. The new farmers will give him his share of the crop when the time of harvest comes.”

42. Jízọs kọ́n tẹ́l dẹm sé, “Abí una nẹ́vá ríd dís tin fọ Gọd-Buk? ‘Di ston wé di pípul wé de bíld haus trowè sé i nọ́ gẹ́t hẹd, dọ́n bikọ́m di ston wé dé impọ́tant pás ọ́l di ọ́dá ston-dẹm fọ di haus. Na Gọd dú dís tin, an wétín I du dé wọ́ndáful fọ awa ai!’

42. Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you read this in God’s Book? ‘The stone that the house builders threw out as useless, has become the most important stone out of all the other stones. It was God that did this, and what He did is wonderful in our sight!’

43. Sódiáfọ, A de tẹ́l una sé, “Gọd go ték frọm una di rait wé una gẹt as pípul wé Gọd de rúl as King. An I go gív am to pípul wé de dú wétín I want.

43. Therefore, I tell you, “God will take away from you the right you have as people He rules as King. And He will give it to people who do what He wants.

44. [Éníbọ́di wé fọ́l ọntọ́p dís ston go brẹ́k íntó písis. An íf di ston fọ́l ọntọ́p sọ́mbọ́di, i go graínd di pẹ́sin mék i bí laik paúda.]”

44. [Anyone that falls on this stone will break into pieces. And if the stone falls on someone, it will crush the person like dust.]”

45. Wẹ́n di chíf prist-dẹm an Fárisí pípul hiá Jízọs Im párébul-dẹm, dẹm sabí sé I de tọ́k abaút dẹm.

45. When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard these parables from Jesus, they knew that He was talking about them.

46. Naím dẹm kọ́n trai mék dẹm hól Am. Bọt dẹm de fiá di pípul, sékọf sé di pípul bilív sé Jízọs na prọ́fẹt.

46. So they tried to arrest Him. But they were afraid of the people, because the people believed that Jesus was a prophet.
