Jesus Says That People Will Completely Destroy God’s House

(Vas 1-2)

1. Jesus left the yard of God’s House. While He was leaving, His disciples came to Him and showed Him the buildings in the yard of God’s House.

2. Jízọs tẹ́l dẹm sé, “Una sí ọ́l dís tins? A de tẹ́l una tru sé, wọ́n ston nọ́ go rimén ọntọ́p anọ́dá ston. Juu pípul dẹm ẹ́ními-dẹm go nak nák daún ọ́l ọf dẹm.

2. Jesus said to them, “Do you see all these things? I tell you the truth that, not one stone will remain on top of another stone. Enemies of the Jews will destroy all of them.

Jesus Talks About How People Will Persecute His Followers

3. As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to Him privately. They asked Him, “Tell us when will all these things happen. And what will happen to show us that it is time for You to come and for the world to end?”

4. Then Jesus answered them, “Be careful! Do not let anyone decieve you.

5. Many people will come using My name. They will say, ‘I am the Christ.’ And they will deceive many people.

6. You will hear about wars that people are fighting. And news about other wars that are about to begin. But do not be afraid. These things must happen, but they do not mean that the end has come.

7. Wọ́n kọ́ntri go faít anọ́dá kọ́ntri, an wọ́n kíndọm go faít anọ́dá kíndọm. Fọ méní ples, fud nọ́ go dè wé pípul go chọp. An graun go shẹk shẹ́k bád bad fọ dífrẹ́n dífrẹ́n ples.

7. One country will fight against another country, and one kingdom will fight against another kingdom. In many places, there will be no food for people to eat. And there will be earthquakes in different places.

8. Ọ́l dís tins bí laik di stát ọf di pen wé de pén wúman bifọ́ i bọ́n im pikin.

8. All these things are like the beginning of the pains a woman has before she gives birth to her baby.

9. Dẹn una ẹ́ními-dẹm go kárí una gív pípul wé go sọ́fá una. Dẹm go kíl una. Pípul fọ ọ́l kọ́ntri-dẹm go hét una sékọf sé una de fọ́ló Mi.

9. Then your enemies will hand you over to people who will torture you. They will kill you. People of all nations will hate you because you are following Me.

10. Fọ dát taim, plẹ́ntí pípul go stọ́p to pút dẹm trọst fọ Mi. Dẹm go sẹ́l ích ọ́da gív dẹm ẹ́ními-dẹm, an dẹm go hét ích ọ́da.

10. During that time, many people will stop believing in Me. They will hand each other over to their enemies, and they will hate each other.

11. Plẹ́ntí lailaí prọ́fẹt-dẹm go kọm, an dẹm go disív plẹ́ntí pípul.

11. Many false prophets will come, and they will deceive many people.

12. Sékọf sé mọọ́ mọọ́ pípul go de dú wíkẹ́d tins ẹ́vríwia, dis go mék plẹ́ntí pípul mék dẹm stọ́p to lọ́v ọ́dá pípul.

12. Because more and more people will be doing wicked things everywhere, this will make many people to stop loving others.

13. Bọt Gọd go sév di pẹ́sin wé kọntíniú to sté strọng sóteé gó rích di ẹnd.

13. But God will save the person who remains strong until the end.

14. An fọ ẹ́vríwia fọ wọld, pípul go prích dís Gúd Niuz abaut haú Gọd go rúl as King. Dẹm go prích am só dat pípul wé dé ẹ́vríwia fọ wọld go gẹ́t chans to hiá am. Dẹn Gọd go mék di wọld mék i ẹnd.

14. Everywhere in the world, people will preach this Good News about how God will rule as King. They will preach it so that people in all places in the world will have the chance to hear it. Then God will bring the world to an end.

Jesus Speaks About the Horrible Thing That Will Come

(Vas 15-28)

15. “Una go sí ‘Di Họ́ríbúl Tin’ wé Prọfẹt Dániẹl tọ́k abaút am. Una go sí di Họ́ríbúl Tin as i stán ínsaíd di hólí ples.” (Yu wé de ríd dís tin mọsto traí ọndastán wétín i min!)

15. “You will see ‘The Horrible Thing’ that Daniel the prophet spoke about. You will see the Horrible Thing standing inside the holy place.” (You who read this must try to understand what it means!)

16. “Wẹ́n una sí dís Họ́ríbúl Tin, dẹn di pípul wé dé fọ Judia mọsto rọ́n gó fọ maúntin.

16. “When you see this Horrible Thing, then the people who are in Judea must run away to the mountains.

17. Pẹ́sin wé dé ọntọ́p di rúf ọf im haus mọsto nọ́ gó daun to ték énítin kọmọ́t frọm im haus.

17. A person who is on top of the roof of his house, must not go down to take anything out of his house.

18. An di pẹ́sin wé dé fọ fam mọsto nọ́ gó bak fọ im haus to ték im klọt.

18. And the person who is in the farm must not go back to his house to get his coat.

19. Dát taim go bád wẹ́l wẹl fọ wímẹn wé gẹ́t bẹlẹ́, an fọ di wọns wé stíl de gív smọ́l pikin-dẹm brẹst!

19. That time will be very terrible for pregnant women, and for those who are still breast feeding little babies!

20. Mék una pré to Gọd só dat di taim una go rọn nọ́ go bi réní sízin ọ Dé-fọ-rẹst!

20. Pray to God that when you have to run away will not be in winter or on a Day of Rest!

21. Dis na sékọf sé, di sọ́fa wé pípul go sọ́fá dát taim go bád wẹ́l wẹl. I go bád pás éní kaín sọ́fa wé pípul dọ́n ẹ́vá sọ́fa frọm di taim wé Gọd mék di wọld sóteé kọ́m rích nau. An pípul nọ́ go ẹ́vá sọ́fá laik dat agen.

21. This is because there will be great sufferring at that time. It will be worse than any suffering that people have ever suffered from the time God created the world until now. And people will never suffer like that again.

22. Íf to sé Gọd nọ́ disaíd to ridiúz haú méní dez pípul go sọ́fa, nóbọ́di go sọvaív fọ dís wọld. Bọt Gọd go ridiúz di dez sékọf di pípul wé I dọ́n chuz mék dẹm bi Im pípul.

22. If God had not decided to reduce the number of days people will suffer, no one in this world would survive. But God will reduce the number of days because of the people He has chosen to be His people.

23. Dẹn íf éníbọ́di tẹ́l una sé, ‘Luk-oó, Kraist dé hia!’ ọ ‘I dé dia!’ – mék una nọ́ bilív wétín di pẹ́sin tọk.

23. At that time, if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ – do not believe what the person says.

24. Dis na sékọf sé lailaí Kraist-dẹm an lailaí prọ́fẹt-dẹm go kọm. Dẹm go dú bíg bíg mírákul-dẹm an wọ́ndáfúl tins fọ ték disív pípul. Íf í dé pọ́síbul, dẹm go yúz dís tins fọ ték traí disív ívún di pípul wé Gọd dọ́n chuz mék dẹm bi Im pípul.

24. This is because false Christs and false prophets will come. They will do great miracles and wonderful things in order to deceive people. If it were possible, they will use these things to try to deceive even the people God has chosen to be His people.

25. Listen! I have told you this before it happens.

26. Sódiáfọ, íf pípul tẹ́l una sé, ‘Luk-oó, Kraist dé fọ dẹ́zat!’ – mék una nó kọmọ́t gó dia. Íf dẹm sé, ‘Luk-oó, I dé ínsaíd praívét rum!’ – mék una nọ́ bilív dẹm.

26. Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look, Christ is in the desert!’ – don’t go out there. If they say, ‘Look, He is in a private room!’ – don’t believe them.

27. Dis na sékọf sé, jọ́s as tọ́nda-lait de kọ́m frọm ist an shain gó rích wẹst, na so i go bì wẹ́n Mi, wé bi Húmánbin Pikin go kọm.

27. Because just as lightning comes from the east and shines to the west, so it will be when I, the Son of Man will come.

28. Éníwia wé dẹd-bọdí dè, na dia vọ́lchọ-dẹm go gáda.

28. Anywhere there is a dead body, it is there vultures will gather.

Jesus Talks About Things That Will Happen When He Comes

29. “Jọ́s áftá di sọ́fa wé pípul go sọ́fá dát taim, sọn go kọ́n bikọ́m dak. Mun nọ́ go shaín agen. Sta-dẹm go fọ́l frọm skai. An Gọd go shék an múv wíkẹ́d páwáfúl spírit-dẹm wé dé fọ skai.

29. “Just after the suffering of those days, the sun will become dark. The moon will not shine again. The stars will fall from the sky. And God will shake and move wicked powerful spirits that are in the sky.

30. Dẹn sọ́mtin go apiá fọ skai. Di tin go shó pípul sé Mi, wé bi Húmánbin Pikin dọ́n de kọm. An dẹn ọ́l di pípul wé dé fọ wọld go krai. Dẹm go sí Mí de kọ́m ọntọ́p klaud wé dé fọ skai. A go kọ́m wit páwa an wọ́ndáfúl braít lait go de shaín araún Mi.

30. Then something will appear in the sky. The thing will show people that I, the Son of Man, is coming. And then all the peoples of the world will cry. They will see Me coming on clouds in the sky. I will come with power and great glory.

31. A go yúz laúd trọ́mpẹt ték sẹ́n Mai énjel-dẹm to ọ́l ples fọ wọld. Dẹm go gó gádá di pípul wé A dọ́n chuz mék dẹm bi Mai pípul. Dẹm go gádá dẹm frọm ẹ́vríwia fọ wọld.

31. I will use a loud trumpet to send My angels to all places on the earth. They will gather the people I have chosen to be My people. They will gather them from all over the earth.

Jesus Talks About What People Should Learn from the Fig Tree

(Vas 32-35)

32. “Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its small branches become green and soft and new leaves start to grow, then you know that summer is near.

33. Fọ di sém wè, wẹ́n una sí ọ́l dís tins de hápun, mék una nó sé di taim wẹ́n dís wọld go ẹnd dọ́n dé nia wẹ́l wẹl.

33. In the same way, when you see all these things happening, know that the time when this world will end is very, very near.

34. A de tẹ́l una tru sé, di pípul wé dé alaif nau nọ́ go daí fínish, ọntil ọ́l dís tins dọ́n hápun.

34. I tell you the truth that the people who are alive now will not all die until all these things happen.

35. Hẹ́vún an wọld go ẹnd, bọt di tins wé A de tọk nọ́ go ẹ́vá disapia.

35. Heaven and earth will pass away, but the things that I say will never pass away.

No One Knows When Jesus Will Come

(Vas 36-44)

36. Bọt nóbọ́di sabí di dè an di áwa wẹ́n ọ́l dís tins go hápun. Di énjẹ́l-dẹm wé dé fọ hẹ́vun nọ́ sabí. Mi, wé bi Gọd Pikin nọ́ ívún sabí. Na ónlí Gọd, wé bi Mai Papá sabí.

36. But no one knows the day and the hour when all these things will happen. The angels in heaven don’t know. Even I, the Son of God, don’t know. It is only God My Father that knows.

37. As i bí fọ Nóa taim, na so i go bì wẹ́n Mi, wé bi Húmánbin Pikin go kọm.

37. As it was in Noah’s time, so it will be when I, the Son of Man will come.

38. Fọ di taim jọ́s bifọ́ Gọd sẹ́n di bíg-wọtá wé kọ́vá di wọld, pípul bin de chọp chọ́p an drink drínk. Mẹ́n an wímẹn bin de mari márí ích ọ́da. Dẹm stíl dé de dú dís tins sóteé gó rích di dè wẹ́n Nóa ẹ́ntá di bíg bot.

38. At the time just before God sent the flood, people were eating and drinking. Men and women were marrying each other. They were still doing those things until the day Noah entered the big boat.

39. An dẹm nọ́ sabí di tin wé de hápun sóteé gó rích wẹ́n di bíg-wọtá kọ́m kárí ọ́l ọf dẹm gò. Na so i go bì wẹ́n Mi, wé bi Húmánbin Pikin go kọm.

39. And they did not know what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when I, the Son of Man comes.

40. Fọ dát taim, tuú mẹn go dé fọ fam de wọk. Gọd go ték wọ́n ọf dẹm, bọt I go lív di ọ́dá wọn.

40. At that time, two men will be working on a farm. God will take one of them, but He will leave the other one.

41. Tuú wímẹn go dé togẹ́da de graínd fúd tins fọ ples wiá pípul de graínd tins. Gọd go ték wọ́n ọf dẹm, bọt I go lív di ọ́dá wọn.

41. Two women will be together grinding grain at the mill. God will take one of them, but He will leave the other one.

42. So, mék una dé rẹdí ẹ́vrítaim. Dis na sékọf sé una nọ́ nó di dè wé una Ọgá go kọm.

42. So be ready at all times, because you do not know the day your Lord will come.

43. Bọt mék una sabí se, íf to sé di ọgá wé gẹ́t haus sabí wích taim tif go kọ́m fọ nait, i fọ dé awek. An nó fọ lẹ́t di tif brẹ́k ẹ́ntá im haus.

43. But understand this: If the owner of a house knew the time of the night a thief would come, he would have stayed awake. And would not have allowed the thief to break into his house.

44. Sódiáfọ, una mọsto ọ́lsó dé rẹdí ẹ́vrítaim. Dis na sékọf sé Mi, wé bi Húmánbin Pikin go kọ́m fọ taim wẹ́n una nọ́ tínk sé A go kọm.

44. Therefore, you must also be ready at all times. I, the Son of Man, will come at a time when you don’t think that I will come.

The Trustworthy and the Untrustworthy Servants

45. So, na hú bi di sávant wé im ọgá trọ́st wẹ́l wẹl an wé gẹ́t sẹns? Na di wọ́n wé im ọgá dọ́n pút am in cháj ọf di ọ́dá sávant-dẹm, mék i de gív dẹm dia chọp fọ kọrẹ́t taim.

45. So, who is the trustworthy and wise servant? He is the one that his master has put in charge of the other servants to give them their food at the right time.

46. Tins go gúd wẹ́l wẹl fọ dát sávant íf im ọgá kọm an sí am de dú wétín i tẹ́l am mék i du!

46. Things will be very good for that servant if his master comes and sees him doing what he told him to do.

47. A de tẹ́l una tru sé, im ọgá go pút di sávant in cháj ọf ọ́l im prọpatí.

47. I tell you the truth, his master will put the servant in charge of all his property.

48. Bọt íf di sávant na bád sávant an kọ́n tẹ́l imsẹf sé, ‘Mai ọgá nọ́ go kwík kọ́m bak.’

48. But if he is a bad servant and says to himself, ‘My master will not come back soon.’

49. Dẹn i stát to bit bít di ọ́dá sávant-dẹm wé ím an dẹm de wọ́k togẹ́da. An i kọ́n de chọp chọ́p an drink drínk wit drọnka-pípul.

49. Then he begins to beat the other servants who work with him. And he eats and drinks with drunkards.

50. Dẹn dát sávant im ọgá go kọ́n kọ́m wọ́n dè wẹ́n di sávant nọ́ tínk sé i go kọm, an fọ taim wé i nọ́ no.

50. Then the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at a time he does not know.

51. Naím im ọgá go pọ́nísh am wẹ́l wẹl. I go pút am togẹ́dá wit tuú-fés pípul. Fọ dát ples, pípul go krai an graínd dẹm tit.

51. Then his master will punish him severely. He will put him together with the hypocrites. In that place, people will cry and grind their teeth.
